The Company

Our client, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading machine tool manufacturer.

An opportunity has arisen to join the Service Department as a Service Engineer. This role would suit an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer. Full training will be provided, with the successful candidate becoming a key member of the Service Team.

Job Description

Field-based role travelling to customer sites to service [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] machines as part of planned maintenance. Duties include fault diagnosis, machine alignment checks, and general servicing.

The role involves representing [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] to customers, working in a professional and safety-conscious manner at all times.

Essential Criteria

• Electrical or mechanical experience
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Basic programme experience ([Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] / Siemens / Heidenhain)
• Understanding of machine tool levelling, alignment, and geometry
• Knowledge of different control systems
• Experience with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] controls and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] machines
• Professional, customer-focused approach
• Flexible with overtime, weekends, and overnight stays
• Clean driving licence
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to communicate with customers at all levels

Desirable Criteria

• 5-axis knowledge
• Experience of report writing
