Role Description
Our client is a globally established supplier of defence equipment and services. The Business Development Manager will grow new sales primarily in the UK across the defence sector, report to the GM, and manage both new and existing customers. Responsibilities include building a go-to-market business plan, developing leads, quoting prices, preparing proposals, and managing channel partners.
Qualifications
- Must have thorough knowledge of the UK defence/security industry
- Experience selling defence/security products to government, law enforcement, military, etc.
- UK citizen capable of holding security clearance
- BSc/BA degree minimum, project management exposure/certification
- Minimum 2 years success in meeting direct sales quotas of £750K+ for physical defence/security products
- Proficient in PowerPoint and other Office tools
