Location: Redditch

Salary: £40,000 - £44,835 per year

Job Details

A growing FMCG manufacturer are seeking an electrically bias Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team, the company is heavily investing into new machinery and this role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment where you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of cutting-edge machinery and electrical systems.

Shifts - Sunday to Tuesday & Monday to Thursday, on a two rotation - Days Only. Hourly Paid up to £22.69 per hour plus Benefits.

What You Will Do

  • Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults on control panels, drives, PLCs, motors, and instrumentation.
  • Support production teams by ensuring all equipment is operational and ready for use.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, site procedures, and current legislation.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation to meet regulatory and customer standards.
  • Proactively identify and recommend electrical improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including control panels, PLCs, drives, and motors.
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with production and quality teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and following safe systems of work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
