Purpose of the Role

The Group OEM & Body Builder Programme Manager drives strategic partnerships, managing the full lifecycle of safety solutions products from concept to launch. Serves as primary contact bridging internal Group and subsidiary stakeholder teams with external OEM and Bodybuilder customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship & Account Management: Cultivate high-level relationships with OEM partners.
  • Programme Execution: Lead multiple programmes through gate board process.
  • Business Development: Drive growth by identifying new OEM and Bodybuilder opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop business plans for programme compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate engineering, commercial, operations, and procurement teams.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use Power BI and CRM to track KPIs, manage budgets and forecasting.
  • Change Management: Assess and approve change requests and lead commercial negotiations.

Person Specification

  • Experience: Proven OEM account management, programme/project management, particularly in Automotive or Aerospace.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and product development lifecycles.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent with 5+ years demonstrable commercial experience.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and written/verbal skills.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work independently.
  • Tools: Proficient in CRM/ERP systems (Business Central, Phocas, Microsoft Project, PLM, Monday.com).
  • Decision-making, adaptability, organisational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to work beyond normal hours when required.
