Purpose of Role
Manage supply chain planning to ensure both optimal customer service levels and optimal inventory performance for Applegarth facility (UK & ROW sales regions) by generating demand & purchase supply plan to meet the needs of the business sales forecast and ensure all required stock is ordered from vendors, co-manufacturers, and assemblers in a timely manner to meet Customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Actively interacts with internal stakeholders within the business (Sales, Customer Service or Supply Chain teams) to develop appropriate supply plans that meet Customer forecasts while minimising exposure to stock outs
- Utilize statistical modelling methods to develop forecasts where internal insights are not available.
- Identify and resolve supply exceptions by working with a wider team to expedite purchase orders, re-allocating existing inventory and establishing safety stock parameters.
- Responsible for product availability across dedicated region.
- Responsible for meeting overall inventory targets: stock turns, net inventory, inventory outlook projection & improving inventory health for the designated region.
- Provide input into future planning tools to leverage for process and performance improvements.
- Identify & communicate supply/demand conflicts and imbalances to determine trade-offs & potential service/fill rate risks.
- Serve as the point-person for escalation of demand and supply-related issues
- Ensure BC365 and Planning tools Master data sets are up to date and configured in the right way to support automation and accuracy of business processes.
- Development and management of direct reports.
- Producing Sales History reports for a designated region.
- Obtaining forecast sales figures for launch items from product managers
- Obtaining OEM forecast data from relevant sales managers.
- Assisting with Stock counting across all Group companies
- Dealing with stock related inquiries from Group companies
Person Specification
- Extensive practical experience in Supply Chain Planning or Demand Forecasting.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (BC365) & Forecasting systems (EazyStock) or equivalent systems.
- Exceptional analytical skills, experience of using reporting tools (SQL, PowerBI, advanced Excel or alternative).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
- Decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail in planning, execution, and follow-through.
