About the Job
Our client, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and job specifications
- Select, install, and adjust tooling to meet job requirements
- Perform quality checks and ensure all parts meet required tolerances
- Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area in line with 5S standards
- Actively participate in Kaizen activities for continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Complete production documentation accurately
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery (required)
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required
Desirable Skills
- Experience with JP, Bystronic, or similar machinery
- Basic programming knowledge (CNC press brake)
- Forklift licence or overhead crane experience (advantage)
