About the Job

Our client, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and job specifications
  • Select, install, and adjust tooling to meet job requirements
  • Perform quality checks and ensure all parts meet required tolerances
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area in line with 5S standards
  • Actively participate in Kaizen activities for continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams
  • Complete production documentation accurately

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery (required)
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with JP, Bystronic, or similar machinery
  • Basic programming knowledge (CNC press brake)
  • Forklift licence or overhead crane experience (advantage)
