Junior Accounts Assistant

What will you do as a Junior Accounts Assistant
- Assist with purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
- Process high volumes of invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct coding
- Manage supplier statements and assist with query resolution
- Support payment runs and allocation of payments
- Raise sales invoices and monitor incoming payments
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with cash allocation and credit control activities
- Support month-end close, including accruals and prepayments
- Maintain and update financial records on accounting systems
- General administrative support to the finance function
What do you need as a Junior Accounts Assistant
- Studying or recently completed AAT (or equivalent)
- Some prior experience in a finance or accounts role
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload
- Positive attitude with a desire to develop a long-term career in finance
