FULL DESCRIPTION

Band 5 Staff Nurse (Nights)

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to work within the Inpatient Unit at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care.

£25,655 - £27,780 per annum pro rata (Entry-Mid level Band 5, dependent upon experience, unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)

3 x Nights Shifts, 34.5 hours per week (The role covers a 7 day service and will therefore include weekends. Occasional rotation to day shifts will be expected to ensure essential skills are maintained.)

The Role

Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide hands-on, person-centred care. Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.

What you need

To apply, you must be a Registered General Nurse, who is enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for specialist palliative and end of life care. Ideally, you will have experience within palliative care, although you will be fully supported in the role if you have limited or no experience with the specialty. You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team. You must be flexible and adaptable.
