Bank Housekeeper

The Role

Working across all areas within the hospice, the role will support the effective running of our Housekeeping team during periods of staff leave, absences and during busy periods. The post holder performs all cleaning and domestic duties in the hospice as required, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout. This will include specialised cleaning in appropriate areas, such as treatment rooms and pharmacy, and maintenance of cleaning equipment.

What you need

We are looking for an experienced housekeeper with high personal standards and a commitment to the vision and values of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. You must be able to work well in a team and have good interpersonal and communication skills, along with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach. Experience of working in a clinical environment and an NVQ Level 1 qualification (cleaning related) would be an advantage.
