Ward & Medical Administrator
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Ward & Medical Administrator to work within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], providing effective administrative support to our medical and clinical teams within the new Wellbeing Hub and the Inpatient Unit. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced administrator to be part of our team.
Salary: £19,737 - £21,142 per annum pro rata (Actual salary £15,790 - £16,913 per annum)
Hours: 30 hours over 4 or 5 days per week
The Role
This is a vital role, as the post holder will support the medical team, clinical team and the Wellbeing Hub Service Lead with the associated administration work. This will include collecting and recording data associated with the referral, admission, discharge and attendance at Outpatient clinics, drop-in activities and the care of patients within Hospice at Home. You will also deal with telephone enquiries and liaise professionally and sensitively with GPs, hospitals, healthcare professionals, patients and their relatives.
