Quality & Governance Lead
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are currently looking to recruit an appropriately qualified and experienced Quality & Governance professional with a demonstrable track record of planning and delivering service change in response to risk management issues. Working as part of our clinical services team, the successful candidate will be the driving force in developing and strengthening our organisational approach to and understanding of the importance of governance and compliance. This is a new and exciting opportunity for a dynamic quality and compliance professional to develop this key role for the hospice.
- Band 7 £38,890 - £44,503 per annum
- Full Time 37.5 hours per week
The Role
As Quality & Governance Lead, you will work closely with the Clinical Governance Committee, the Clinical Nurse Director and service managers to ensure our hospice services commit to a Quality Improvement Culture and adhere to statutory regulations. You’ll develop and communicate governance and compliance policies, ensuring that departments are supported in the implementation and continued compliance of these policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also advise on and develop the hospice’s compliance with CQC regulations in relation to legislation and best practice, ensuring that high standards are maintained.
What you need
We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of working within a quality and/or compliance role, ideally as part of the management team within a healthcare organisation. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and show that you are able to engage effectively with both internal staff and external stakeholders. Evidence of effective and high quality strategy and report writing is essential, as is the ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively. You must be decisive and able to implement change based on detailed analysis of data.
