Health, Safety & Environment Manager

Job Description
Lead a visible cultural shift aligned with the belief that every accident is preventable. Coach and challenge leaders at all levels to role model right safety behaviours. Create an engaging HSE culture that energises Associates and strengthens accountability. Partner with operations, engineering and technical teams to embed safety into daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultural Leadership & Engagement – drive behavioural change and ownership
- Strategy & Governance – develop and deploy site HSE strategy, maintain ISO45001 and ISO14001 compliance
- Risk Management & Assurance – coordinate risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits
- Capability Building & Sustainability – deliver training, analyse HSE data, drive continuous improvement
What We Are Looking For
A people-first leader with proven ability to inspire and influence in a manufacturing environment. Technical expertise including a degree in Science or Engineering, NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma (essential), and strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation. Experience maintaining safety/environmental management systems.
