Warehouse Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their retail team. Salary: £20,330 - £21,777 per annum (pro rata for part time).
The Role
You’ll maximise profit for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] through safe, effective and efficient management of our Furniture Plus shop’s warehouse area and our furniture collection and delivery operation. You’ll line manage two members of staff (Collection & Delivery Operatives) and recruit, train and support volunteers. You’ll also work closely with the Furniture Shop Managers and Online Sales Manager.
What You Need
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- Ability to drive a 2 tonne van
- Comfortable undertaking manual handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for working with volunteers
- Strong teamwork ethic and initiative
- Passion for the cause and commitment to the hospice’s values
