About the Role

Here at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], our team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families. We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active Housekeeper to join our friendly housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hospice
• Clean to pre-set standards
• Perform stock control duties
• Work extra shifts to cover annual leave and other absences

Requirements

• Experienced housekeeper with high personal standards
• Ability to work well in a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathetic approach
• Previous experience in a health care setting (desirable)
• Knowledge of infection control procedures (desirable)
