Band 5 Staff Nurse

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking Registered Nurses for the Inpatient Unit. Salary: £25,655 - £27,780 per annum. Full time (37.5 hrs/wk), part time considered. Includes weekends and night rotation.

Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurses and to work within the Inpatient Unit at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care.

£25,655 - £27,780 per annum

(Entry-Mid level Band 5, dependent upon experience, unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)

Full time 37.5hrs per week (Part Time considered)

The role covers a 24/7 service and will therefore include weekends and rotation to night duty. Long day shifts and night shifts would be expected.

The Role

Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide hands-on, person-centred care. Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.

What you need:

To apply, you must be a Registered General Nurse, who is enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for specialist palliative and end of life care. A recognised post-registration palliative care qualification and/or experience in the specialty is desirable, although you will be fully supported in the role if you have limited or no experience with the specialty. You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team. It is expected that, from 1st April 2022, it will be a legal requirements for frontline staff in CQC regulated healthcare settings to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Therefore full vaccination status is required for this post (unless a medical exemption applies).
