FULL DESCRIPTION

Cleaning Services Manager

Coventry, West Midlands, United Kingdom

Salary: £56,385

Hours: 37 Hours, Mon to Thurs 8am to 4pm, Fri 8am to 3.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all cleaning and caretaking services across communal areas, sheltered schemes, and offices
  • Set strategic direction and implement policies, procedures, and service standards across all locations
  • Oversee Health & Safety compliance, including risk assessments, method statements, and environmental standards
  • Manage budgets to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality service delivery
  • Monitor performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Build stakeholder relationships and deliver clear reporting on performance, risks, and service outcomes

Qualifications and experience:

  • CIH Level 4 qualification (or willingness to work towards)
  • IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
  • Significant experience in cleaning services (essential)
  • Proven senior management experience within an estates or facilities environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Experience in producing detailed reports and performance analysis
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites
