Cleaning Services Manager
Salary: £56,385
Location: Torrington Avenue, Coventry, CV4 9AJ
Hours: 37 Hours, Mon to Thurs 8am to 4pm, Fri 8am to 3.30pm
We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Cleaning Manager to lead and enhance the delivery of cleaning and caretaking services across our social housing portfolio. This includes communal areas, sheltered housing schemes, office cleaning, and caretaking operations.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for setting direction, ensuring high standards of service delivery, and managing performance across a diverse team of managers and supervisors. The successful candidate will champion safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across all estate services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all cleaning and caretaking services across communal areas, sheltered schemes, and offices
- Set strategic direction and implement policies, procedures, and service standards across all locations
- Oversee Health & Safety compliance, including risk assessments, method statements, and environmental standards
- Manage budgets to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality service delivery
- Monitor performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Build stakeholder relationships and deliver clear reporting on performance, risks, and service outcomes
Qualifications and experience:
- CIH Level 4 qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
- Significant experience in cleaning services (essential)
- Proven senior management experience within an estates or facilities environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Experience in producing detailed reports and performance analysis
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites
