The Business Support Administrator plays a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. The post holder will provide high‑quality administrative assistance to colleagues across the business, ensuring communication, documentation, records, and office coordination are managed professionally and in line with company standards. The role requires a proactive and organised individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while supporting a busy multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including Phone lines, emails, letters, and packages.
- Coordinating calendars, meetings, appointments, room bookings, and travel arrangements.
- Greeting visitors and clients and ensuring company standards are maintained.
- Supporting the smooth running of the office, including maintaining supplies and processing general purchase orders.
- Providing administrative support to Project Managers, including document control, word processing, and the preparation of project related documentation.
- Maintaining and updating internal databases, logs and filing systems, including project contracts, warranties, and other business records.
- Supporting the coordination of Health & Safety, Quality and Social Value activities, including audits, inspections, evidence gathering, and compliance reporting.
- Monitoring activities, collecting relevant information, and producing timely summary reports as required for internal or contract-specific purposes.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to support administrative requirements.
- Undertaking other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time that fall within the scope and level of the role.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including Math’s and English.
- At least 1 years’ experience in a business administration role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in a business administration role.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work with internal databases, filing systems and digital office tools.
