Finance & Payroll Assistant
We are looking for an assistant to support the Head of Finance and management team with finance, payroll, and other tasks. Responsibilities include reconciliation of bank statements, control accounts, credit control, processing purchase/sales invoices, preparing journals, VAT returns, payroll processing, and pension contributions. Requires at least 1 year finance/payroll experience and understanding of trial balances and double entry accounting.
Qualifications
- Recognised finance/payroll qualification or accountancy qualification (ACCA, AAT, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year experience in finance and payroll.
- Understanding of Trial Balances and double entry.
- Good knowledge of ICT packages (Xero, Word, Excel).
Remuneration: Pro-rata 15 hours per week, starting salary £26,227.50 per annum (£10,491 pro-rata), negotiable. Benefits include pension, life cover, staff discount.
