Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area following health and safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system.
- Monitor customer behaviour and manage any challenging situations professionally and sensitively.
- Support team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management to minimise waste and maintain adequate supplies.
- Adhere to licensing laws and company policies at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to support colleagues.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and tills.
- Knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail recipes, and bar equipment is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Personal licence holder or willingness to obtain one is advantageous but not essential.
