Home based (Remote, UK)
Role Purpose
Responding to requests for broadcast interviews throughout the campaign, pitching MPs and other spokespeople for broadcast interviews, drafting written briefings for interviews, briefing MPs, candidates and other spokespeople ahead of interviews and monitoring broadcast coverage and clipping interviews
Skills Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong political judgement
- Good networking skills
- Ability to quickly form effective relationships with broadcast producers
- Interest in the news and current affairs, especially TV and radio
