About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager with proven experience in healthcare or complex care services to drive growth across NHS and private commissioning channels. You will own the full healthcare sales lifecycle — from identifying opportunities through to winning, onboarding and mobilising care packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and win new business within complex care and continuing healthcare (CHC) markets
- Build strong relationships with NHS commissioners, ICBs, case managers and MDT stakeholders
- Manage the full sales process: referral → assessment → proposal → contract → mobilisation
- Develop tailored proposals, pricing structures and tender submissions aligned to healthcare frameworks
- Support onboarding of new care packages, ensuring safe and compliant service delivery
- Attend and contribute to MDT meetings, commissioner reviews and client meetings
- Represent the organisation at networking events and stakeholder presentations
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting and reporting
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support regional growth
About You
Essential
- Proven experience in business development within healthcare, complex care or social care
- Strong understanding of NHS structures, commissioning processes or CHC funding pathways
- Track record of winning new business or care packages within healthcare settings
- Ability to build credibility with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Commercially driven and target-focused
- Highly organised with the ability to manage your own diary and workload
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable
- Experience in complex care, brain injury, spinal injury or learning disability services
- Existing relationships with commissioners, case managers or healthcare networks
- Experience attending or contributing to MDT meetings or clinical reviews

Additional Information
Based from Wimbledon with travel required across London and surrounding areas. Territory may expand in line with business growth. Subject to enhanced DBS and reference checks. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
