About This Career Opportunity

The role is varied and interesting and you will play a key role in supporting the Support Services team in providing a proficient analytical service to all parts of the organisation by gathering requirements, analysing data, interpreting, and reporting on the results.

Main Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver standard and routine data reports in line with the reporting calendar for Managers and Stakeholders
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests utilising a range of databases and systems.
  • Support the development and delivery of complex and ad-hoc reporting requirements where frameworks may not exist and data is coming from a variety of complex sources.
  • Support the delivery of statistical information, interpretation of data, and the presentation of information to meet the needs of internal customers.
  • To identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the development, delivery and maintenance of data reporting.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and other metrics to measure business performance.
  • Work with users of the PowerBI system across the organisation at all levels to ensure they can access the data they need and understand it clearly.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to analysis and reporting of trends, identifying and reporting metrics to highlight issues. You will be a proficient user of Excel with advanced skills including to macro level. You will possess Strong IT reporting and analytic skills including Power BI, SQL and Python. You will be self-motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload.

Essential Requirements

  • Have a recognised data qualification or relevant experience
  • Strong IT reporting and analytic skills including Power BI, SQL and Python.
  • Advanced Excel skills including to macro level.
  • Other MS Office skills such as Word and PowerPoint to a basic level (essential) intermediate level (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, engaging at all levels through varied media

Location and Working Hours

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, based in our Wallsend office. Office hours: Monday to Thursday 08.30 – 16.30 including 30-minute unpaid lunch break and Friday 08.30 – 16.00 including 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
