About the Role

Our Maintenance Operatives deliver a critical service, ensuring our luxury student properties are consistently functioning at their highest capacity across all areas of building management. This is a customer-facing environment where you will be responsible for maintaining [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Student's highest building standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests, promptly addressing student and staff reports of issues with plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, lighting, furniture, and other equipment.
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
• Conduct regular inspections of residence facilities to identify potential issues and performing scheduled maintenance tasks
• General repairs, such as fixing minor issues like leaky plumbing, broken fixtures, damaged doors, and wall repairs.
• Performing minor tasks like replacing flooring, repairing furniture, and touch-up painting & decorating.
• Ground works, maintaining the upkeep of outdoor areas such as grass-cutting & hedge-trimming/shaping.
• Safety compliance. Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures when performing maintenance tasks.

Professional Experience Required

• Experienced delivering preventive and corrective fire alarm and firefighting system maintenance
• Skilled across a variety of maintenance functions
• Well-versed in delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within a similar environment.
• Demonstrable understanding and adherence of safety compliance regulations and procedures.
• IT literate

• Excellent communication skills. English primary, multi-lingual skills welcomed.
• Strong organisational and leadership qualities with ability to remain calm under pressure.
