Junior Business Intelligence Analyst

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Maidenhead. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a salary of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum.

Duties

  • Provide support maintenance, issue management, issue analysis, troubleshooting, issue resolution, validation and testing for existing and new data marts, reports and dashboards in all the BI platforms
  • Mentor junior business intelligence developers
  • Document business requirements and technical designs
  • Engage with our field team to better understand the needs and workflows of the end users, and collaborate on concepts for new functionality
  • Taking responsibility for planning, scoping, managing and creating deliverables as part of a larger project team
  • Managing small teams on projects to deliver tasks, including providing guidance and feedback to junior team members
  • Establishing effective working relationships with peer-level clients as part of project delivery roles
  • Bringing expertise and experience to advise clients
  • Supporting the sales process by developing content for bids
  • Undertaking practice development activities including contributing to thought leadership pieces, running industry events, delivering training or managing team communications

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in SAP BW data warehousing preferred
  • Develop, standardise, & maintain Standard Job Instructions (SJIs) end-user training to support value stream and shared services departments
  • Perform system regression testing for new releases or upgrades to SAP/reporting solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a member of a geographically diverse team
  • Experience with the creation and maintenance of SAP’s Business Objects Universes and WEBI Reports
  • Experience: 2+ years as SAP BI Analyst
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
