Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Secretary to join a busy and supportive Private Client team within a well-established regional law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys providing high-quality administrative support in a client-focused role.

The Role

  • Providing general administrative support
  • Managing and maintaining client files
  • Audio typing and document production
  • Preparing legal documents and court bundles
  • Scanning, filing, and document management
  • Liaising with clients and external professionals
  • Managing diaries and scheduling meetings (in person and via Microsoft Teams)
  • Handling electronic diary systems and correspondence

About You

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Professional and approachable manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid IT and administrative experience (including audio typing)
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work

Experience within a Private Client department (e.g. wills, probate, trusts) would be advantageous but is not essential.
