We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy and highly regarded Tax & Trusts (Private Client) team based in York. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic team, working on a broad range of high-quality matters including wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning, and trusts.

The Role

You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a specialist legal team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting fee earners with Tax & Trusts / Private Client work
  • Managing file opening and client onboarding processes
  • Handling client correspondence and internal administration
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Assisting with general office and team support tasks

About You

We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment. You will have:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within Tax & Trusts
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
