Account Administrator

We are looking to recruit two Account Administrators to join our dedicated team at NRWfm, based in Burscough. In addition to working in our friendly, hardworking, and established team, we offer:

Requirements

To fulfil this role, you’ll have a good standard of education including maths and English. As our customers’ first point of contact, an excellent telephone manner is essential along with the ability to quickly build rapport with our customers. Good organisational skills are required to enable you to prioritise work to meet the customer needs, working to tight deadlines when required. Having a common sense and flexible approach to work you will manage your workload and be able to work on several different contracts as the need arises. Proven experience of managing a varied workload and prioritising tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail is essential.

Main Duties

  • Responding professionally and politely to telephone and email orders and enquiries from both internal and external contacts
  • From information provided by the engineer, identifying parts required and sourcing from the most competitive supplier
  • Ensuring all orders are taken correctly, accurately and in a timely manner, updating the database with accurate notes taken whilst dealing with the call and before processing the order
  • Raising quotations as requested, from preferred suppliers at the most competitive price
  • Trouble shooting as and when required, to ensure customers’ expectations are met
  • Assisting with pricing, part numbering and sourcing of parts as necessary to fulfil customer orders
  • To undertake all training necessary to become fully competent in the role and to have the flexibility to work across contracts as the need arises
  • To comply with all health and safety requirements
  • Building excellent relationships both across the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd network, our suppliers, and our retail and/or national account customers
  • Understanding of all aspects of each of the Accounts and different ways of working
  • Assisting team members with any queries they have
  • Monitoring internal mailboxes and organising cover where needed
  • Purchase monitoring and Credit Card invoice allocation
  • Gas bank Monitoring and updates / Credits
  • Issuing monthly reports to customers on specific dates
  • Cylinder collection monitoring and holding list analysis

The successful candidates will be required to participate in the Company Out of Hours Standby Service on a rostered basis, which includes cover over Bank and Statutory Days Holiday.
