Centre Manager

About the Role

At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] we offer a wide range of exhilarating outdoor activities, team-building programs, and educational experiences to individuals, families, schools, and corporate groups across our 5 Activity centres. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and driven instructors to work at Trafford Water sports Centre. Your day will be full of variety, delivering activities such as kayaking, canoeing, sailing, and stand-up paddle boarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the centre is consistently delivering a high-quality product.
  • Present yourself in line with the company standards including delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Line management of the onsite team.
  • Contributing to the delivery of staff training and in-house activity sign off.
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager and Onboarding to recruit staff as the need arises.
  • Support the development of activity safety documentation and processes.
  • Management site specific safety documentation and processes.
  • Management and development of physical resources (buildings, land and equipment as appropriate).

What We Are Looking For

  • ML, RCI, Paddles Sports Coach, RYA DI, etc, or equivalent.
  • Other national governing awards, e.g. Archery GB, RYA Safety Boat, ERCA, DofE Assessor, RPIOL or APIOL
  • Outdoor First Aid Qualification (min 16 hour)
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in proficiently delivering outdoor activities
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven management experience
