Occupational Therapist

Purpose of Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic HCPC Qualified Occupational Therapist to join us at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. The successful therapist will play a key role in the provision of high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities. As part of our wider Clinical Team, you will have access to support from our in-house Clinical Team and Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing direct assessment
• Intervention and consultation
• Playing a key role in high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities
• Working with support from other professionals within the Clinical Team

Requirements

• HCPC registered therapists are preferred
• Interest in attachment and developmental trauma
• Post qualification experience of SEN education and familiarity with OT assessment tools and interventions
• Experience in sensory integration and sensory-based interventions
• Passionate champions of students with SEND
• Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
