Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Consulting are working with a growing provider of children’s residential services in the search for a Registered Manager to lead one of their homes based in the West Midlands.
The service supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs and focuses on providing a safe, stable and nurturing environment where positive outcomes can be achieved.
The Registered Manager will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring the service delivers high-quality care and operates in line with safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a stable residential care team
- Ensuring the home operates in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
- Maintaining strong safeguarding and care standards
- Overseeing care planning, behaviour support and risk management
- Supporting positive outcomes and development for young people in the service
- Preparing the service for Ofsted inspections and maintaining compliance
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Experience within a children’s residential home environment
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks
The role offers a salary of £55,000 – £65,000 plus a performance bonus, depending on experience.
