Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Consulting are working with a provider of children’s residential services in the search for a Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a residential children’s home based in Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
- Leading shifts and providing guidance to the residential care team
- Promoting safeguarding and positive behaviour support practices
- Supporting care planning, risk assessments and incident reviews
- Assisting with audits and maintaining regulatory compliance
- Supporting staff supervision, development and training
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 desirable)
- Experience working within a children’s residential home
- Experience supervising residential care staff
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
Salary and Benefits
The role offers a salary of £36,000 – £42,000 plus sleep-in payments, depending on experience.
