FULL DESCRIPTION

Employee Relations HR Business Partner

Stephen James Consulting are working on behalf of one of our clients in the search for an Employee Relations HR Business Partner.

This is a national role, offering hybrid working with travel across the UK, along with regular meetings in Leeds.

This role will play a key part in supporting operational and support teams across the business, providing expert guidance on employee relations matters and driving engagement and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a wide range of complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management
  • Providing coaching and guidance to managers on ER matters and best practices
  • Leading on employee relations processes through to resolution, including escalations where required
  • Supporting change management projects including restructures and TUPE
  • Using data and insights to identify trends and improve employee engagement and retention
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across operational and education teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex ER casework, including up to tribunal level
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience working in a multi-site or regulated environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
