Registered Manager (LD)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Consulting are partnering with a specialist provider in the search for a Learning Disabilities (LD) Registered Manager, based in Nottingham. This key role will oversee a residential service supporting young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

  • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year
  • Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery in line with regulatory standards
  • Lead the operational and strategic management of the service, ensuring person-centred care is consistently delivered
  • Oversee care planning that promotes independence, life skills development, and community inclusion for young adults
  • Manage safeguarding, risk, and quality assurance processes across the service
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated care team aligned to organisational values
  • Work collaboratively with families, external professionals, and local authorities to ensure positive outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement across care delivery, staffing, and service performance

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Mental Health services
  • Strong leadership experience within a residential care setting supporting young adults or adults with complex needs
  • Excellent understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and positive behaviour support
  • Experience managing staff teams, service quality, and operational performance
  • Strong commitment to empowering individuals to live independent and meaningful lives
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or working towards
