Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day running of a children’s residential home
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and care in line with Ofsted regulations
- Leading, developing, and supporting the staff team
- Driving positive outcomes for young people through a structured and supportive environment
- Managing compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Building strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong experience within a children’s residential setting
- Current or previous Registered Manager experience within a children’s home
- A minimum of 3 years’ combined experience across Deputy Manager and Registered Manager roles
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
- Experience supporting young people with LD/EBD
- Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
This role requires a confident, experienced manager who can lead from the front and is not new to registration. These roles are based within small, 4-bed homes, offering a hands-on leadership environment with a strong focus on quality and outcomes.
