About the Role

As a Resource Planning Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Workforce plans and rosters consistently deliver the right level of coverage across all locations, aligned to demand, service standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Rostering approach maximises productivity and minimises over/understaffing through effective use of core hours, shift design, and workforce availability.
  • Overtime and short-term resourcing are proactively managed to maintain service while controlling cost.
  • Short-term planning is agile and responsive, enabling the operation to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
  • Planning decisions are informed by accurate data and insight, driving continuous improvement in performance and efficiency.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in workforce or resource planning within a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong understanding of rostering, scheduling, and workforce optimisation
  • Experience managing overtime planning and cost control
  • Confident working with forecasted demand
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience producing reports and insights
  • Good understanding of working time regulations, compliance
  • Analytical and solution-focused
  • Strong communicator
