Technical Sales Support and Administration
We’re looking for a Technical Sales Support and Administration professional to join our team in Guildford, Surrey. This is not your typical desk job — we provide hands-on experience across technical support, sales operations, and administration, allowing you to gain valuable skills and grow your career.
This position is ideal for junior / entry-level candidates eager to develop a broad skill set in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Manage the end-to-end order process, ensuring accuracy, and data entry management from purchase to delivery. Coordinate with sales team, warehouse operations, and logistics team to fulfill orders efficiently.
- Technical Support & Installation: Assist our technical team with installation-related tasks and system deployment, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. Troubleshoot and provide technical support to clients / customers during the installation process, fostering client engagement and problem-solving skills.
- Customer Meetings: Participate in customer meetings / pre-sales discussions to understand client requirements and provide insights into our products and solutions. Develop communication skills to relay technical information and build strong client relationships.
- Logistics Handling: Oversee logistics operations, including inventory management, stock control, and delivery coordination. Handle restocking, shipment tracking, and order fulfillment. Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize delivery schedules and maintain inventory accuracy.
Working Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours/week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm)
Salary: £21,600 – £25,200 per annum (Equivalent to £1,800 – £2,100 per month)
Candidate Profile
Preferred Skills: Tech-savvy and comfortable picking up technical knowledge; Strong written and spoken English; Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; Great attention to detail and accuracy; Team player with a logical, problem-solving approach; Professional communication and excellent phone manner; Experience or knowledge in IT is advantageous; Proficiency in modern foreign languages (e.g. French, Spanish) is a plus.
Personal Attributes: Friendly, approachable, and confident; Highly motivated and eager to learn; Reliable and self-disciplined; Willing to take part in different aspects of the business.
Education & Qualifications: 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English; Diploma or Degree in Business Studies is preferred, but all backgrounds are welcome; Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; Flexible working arrangements available for young parents.
