HR Administrator
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are recruiting an HR Administrator to join our close-knit HR team. This is a full-time, permanent role with the expectation of four days office attendance per week.
About the Role
The HR team comprises 11 professionals and plays a key role in supporting the firm and our people. The team is responsible for delivering a high-quality HR service across the firm, supporting colleagues and teams throughout the employee lifecycle, and helping to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. The HR team consists of: HR Director, Head of HR (Generalist), Three HR Business Partners, Two HR Administrators (including this role), Early Careers Manager, Early Careers & L&D Assistant, Recruitment Business Partner, Payroll & Benefits Specialist.
As HR Administrator, you will provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the HR team as well as play an active role in developing and improving administrative processes and procedures within the team. Reporting to the Head of HR and working closely with all team members, the role is generalist and broad in scope with plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities
- Joiners and Leavers: Assisting with induction programmes, drafting offer letters, requesting references, conducting compliance checks, diarising dates, and ensuring line managers meet probation deadlines.
- Reward and Benefits: Assisting the Payroll & Benefits Specialist with benefit administration, inputting payroll data, updating HR system, and assisting with benchmarking.
- Recruitment: Arranging interviews, typing job descriptions, liaising with departments, and maintaining the recruitment system (Teamtailor).
- CSR, Diversity and Inclusion: Reviewing initiatives, assisting with Diversity Committee meetings, and organising wellbeing initiatives.
- General: Managing HR inboxes, reviewing procedures, ensuring GDPR compliance, providing HR data reports, and supporting ad hoc projects.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Previous HR administration experience (law firm or professional services advantageous but not essential)
- Professional and commercial approach with proactive problem-solving
- Positive 'can do' attitude and flexibility
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong IT capabilities, including Office 365 suite
