Senior Receptionist

We are now seeking an experienced Senior Receptionist to join our highly professional Front Desk team. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Primary Care, is an exclusive private GP patient facility within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], delivering outstanding care in a calm, discreet, and welcoming environment.

Location: London, Wimpole Street, Marylebone
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday
Shifts: To be confirmed but earliest start 8am and latest finish 5.30pm
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,784 to £33,000 depending on experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Meet and greet private patients with warmth, professionalism, and discretion
  • Act as the first point of contact for private patient GP appointments.
  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end private patient experience
  • Maintain accurate patient records and databases, ensuring confidentiality at all times
  • Proactively support referrals and liaise with clinicians and internal departments
  • Coordinate specimen collection and engage with laboratory services
  • Liaise with external labs and ensure timely follow-up and communication
  • Manage private patient billing, payments, and related administrative processes
  • Carry out extensive administrative duties including appointment scheduling, correspondence, and record management.
  • Pro-actively use initiative to follow up appointments, and ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • You will ensure the reception area is welcoming, clean, and functioning at a 1st class standard
  • You will attend to the needs of the private GPs, ensuring they have everything they need.

What You Will Bring

  • Previous front-of-house or receptionist experience within a health centre OR front of house experience within an elite 5-star hotel or luxury customer service environment
  • A strong commitment to delivering five-star customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Confidence using administrative systems and patient databases
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Due to the VIP/Elite level patient, you must be discreet and respectful
  • A calm, professional approach in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to handle sensitive information on a needs to know basis.
