FULL DESCRIPTION

Power Platform Developer - Newcastle upon Tyne - £40,000 – £50,000 - Permanent - Hybrid

Power Platform Developer

WeDo are working with a fast-growing Microsoft-focused consultancy that’s quickly building a reputation for delivering high-quality Power Platform and D365 solutions. This isn’t a traditional consultancy environment. The business is early in its journey, already winning strong project work, and is now at the point where they’re investing in building out their internal capability. They operate across the full lifecycle, from early-stage discovery through to delivery and long-term transformation, which means you’ll get exposure well beyond just development. This hire is key to that growth. You’ll be joining at a point where you can genuinely shape things, not just slot into an existing team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) solutions
  • Create and optimise Power Automate workflows
  • Work across Dataverse / Dynamics environments
  • Support delivery across multiple client projects
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into solutions
  • Contribute to the growth of the Power Platform capability within the business

Required Skills

  • Experience with Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven)
  • Experience with Power Automate
  • Understanding of Dataverse / Dynamics environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders

Nice to have

  • JavaScript or pro-code exposure
  • Any client-facing or consultancy experience

Why should I apply?

  • Join a business at the early stages of growth with real momentum
  • Work closely with experienced consultants and leadership, accelerating your development
  • Gain exposure to full project lifecycles, not just isolated build work
  • Clear progression based on impact, not time served
  • Opportunity to step into a more client-facing, consultancy-style role
  • Be part of building something, not just maintaining it

This is ideal for someone who has a solid foundation and wants to take the next step into a more rounded role with greater ownership and visibility.
