About The Role

We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Fire Service Manager who can drive and deliver technical excellence and “get stuff done” but also help build and deliver our longer-term strategic plan.

• Ensuring the region is always resourced in line with order book requirements, managing recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Providing first-line technical support to engineers, resolving issues efficiently.
• Undertaking site surveys and preparing quotations.
• Dealing with customers’ queries efficiently and effectively.
• Managing engineering staff, including workload allocation, productivity, PDA usage, and timely submission of reports.
• Processing engineers’ weekly PDA timesheets and verifying activity.

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrable experience in fire alarm and fire extinguisher inspection, testing, and remedial works.
• Proven experience in fire project delivery, including planning, coordination, and budget management.
• Confident and effective communicator.
• Commercially astute with logical decision-making.
• Extensive knowledge of fire industry practices, standards, and compliance.
• Motivational leader who inspires high performance.
• Smart and analytical leader focused on continuous improvement.
