Laundry Operative

About The Role

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team on a Full Time and Permanent basis as a Laundry Operative situated at our Blackridge Operations Centre working with our Floorcare Hygiene Division which is part of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group – the leading Hygiene Services provider in the UK.

The Laundry Operative role at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] will involve:

• To process all mats available for washing to quality standards set by [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
• Ensure the service operation is provided with a high-quality service in terms of Rapid Turnover of Mats and Mats properly clean/dry.
• Ensure all laundry equipment and associated items are maintained according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures. Ensuring all records are kept up to date.
• In the event of machinery breakdown, to be competent to decide on either undertaking minor works to fix the problem or to notify the Laundry Support Manager.

The ideal candidate for a Laundry Operative at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] will have:

• Understanding of laundry systems, machinery and processes
• A methodical and logical way of working
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with individuals and groups, both orally and in writing
• An ability to learn new systems quickly
• Creative approach to problem solving.
