Job Description

As a temporary Children’s Support Worker, you’ll be providing high-quality care across a range of children’s services, including residential homes, SEN schools, learning disability and challenging behaviour settings, as well as supporting children with more complex care needs. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting, safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
  • Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention.
  • Helping with educational development and personal care to foster independence.

What We’re Looking For

  • Over 21 years old with right to work in the UK.
  • Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience in a children's/young adult setting.
  • Knowledge in EBD, SEMH, CSE or SEN/SEND.
  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (desirable).
  • Good standard of English and effective communication.
  • Clear enhanced DBS (can be applied for upon registration).
