Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking BBQ and smoked meats to perfection, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
• Assisting with the development of new menu items and keeping our offerings fresh and exciting.
• Ensuring all food is presented beautifully, adhering to our restaurant’s plating standards.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene practices and adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
• Managing kitchen stock and ensuring that waste is minimised.
• Leading by example, ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and compliant with all food safety regulations.
• Supporting the kitchen team during peak service hours and ensuring smooth operation.

What We’re Looking For

• A passion for BBQ and smoked meats—experience with BBQ techniques is a big plus!
• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and health regulations.
• Creativity and a desire to contribute to menu development.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a desire to grow and learn within the culinary world.
