Regional Marketing Manager

About the role

To develop and execute local marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive footfall and revenue in the region.

  • Become the key contact for regional marketing. Regularly communicating and engaging with retail operations and RMs.
  • Working closely with the wider Marketing team to align the regional goals and initiatives with the overall brand and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the RMs and other key stakeholders to understand the needs and preferences of the local customers, to then be able to provide them with the necessary marketing support and resources.
  • End to end management of key priority comms (store closures, refreshes and new store openings). Briefing into the wider marketing team all comms required to support the store activity.
  • Assess issues and opportunities and make recommendations for ways of working including a clear view on what needs to be delivered.
  • Brief and create a playbook of templated assets for store openings, closures and refreshes.
  • Deliver a strategy for supporting local events – what is the opportunity?
  • Embed a clear understanding of customer segments within local marketing
  • Regular store visits to hear colleague insight and opportunities and gain regular store feedback on marketing activity.
  • Work with wider PR & Social team to create a joined up approach

About You

  • Previously worked in Marketing; Communications and/or Insight & Planning roles
  • Ideally (but not essential) has worked both client-side and within an agency
  • Good understanding of retail (and some exposure to fashion retail)
  • Experienced in brief writing and briefing and comms platform development
  • Knows how to get the best out of an agency partner – strong collaborator
