Description
The Floor Supervisor plays a key role in delivering exceptional day to day service at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This position is responsible for leading the floor during service, supporting the management team, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring every guest receives warm, professional, detail driven hospitality.
As a Floor Supervisor, you are expected to lead by example at all times. You will help create a service culture that is polished, personal, and consistent, while ensuring the restaurant, bar, terrace, and guest areas are well organised, well presented, and running smoothly.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a busy hospitality environment
- Experience serving on the floor in a quality food led pub, restaurant, or hotel
- Strong service skills and confidence leading a section or shift
- A positive, hands on attitude with a genuine love of hospitality
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- High standards of personal presentation and professionalism
- A good understanding of food, drink, and guest expectations
Desirable
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience in a premium pub, inn, or restaurant environment
- Wine knowledge and confidence with pairings
- Experience with reservations systems and till systems
- An interest in developing into an Assistant Manager role in future

Hours
This role will include a mixture of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts depending on the needs of the business. Flexibility is essential.
