Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join the team. As the sous chef you will serve fresh modern cuisine with ever changing seasonal ingredients, work with a highly experienced team, coordinate daily tasks with the Head Chef, prepare ingredients to high standards, ensure efficient service, and maintain food safety and health standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve fresh modern cuisine with ever changing seasonal ingredients
  • Work with a team of highly experienced Chefs who share your passion for quality food
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Head Chef & communicate thoroughly with the rest of the brigade
  • Prepare frequently used ingredients to high & consistent standards of presentation
  • Ensure efficient service & bring driving energy to the team
  • Be fully in charge of your own station & suggest new ways of presenting dishes
  • Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and kept up
  • Support your entire team & multitask / think on your feet during service
  • Help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere
