Job Summary

As Ginger Lily Bar & Lounge Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our unique venue, ensuring the highest standards of service across a multi-faceted operation—an elegant afternoon tea and coffee lounge by day, and a vibrant cocktail and champagne lounge by night. Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily operations of Ginger Lily Bar and Lounge, including afternoon tea, coffee service, and evening bar
  • Ensure seamless transformation from daytime lounge to evening cocktail and champagne venue
  • Maintain and elevate standards of service, guest satisfaction, and cleanliness
  • Lead, motivate, and train the team through active, hands-on management
  • Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate menu offerings, specials, and event requirements
  • Manage bookings, exclusive hires, and corporate events
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and stock control for beverages and supplies
  • Implement and uphold health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Analyse sales and service trends, proactively addressing opportunities for improvement
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for both guests and staff

  • Knowledge of afternoon tea/café service
  • Experience managing private events
