Job Summary
As Ginger Lily Bar & Lounge Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our unique venue, ensuring the highest standards of service across a multi-faceted operation—an elegant afternoon tea and coffee lounge by day, and a vibrant cocktail and champagne lounge by night. Responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily operations of Ginger Lily Bar and Lounge, including afternoon tea, coffee service, and evening bar
- Ensure seamless transformation from daytime lounge to evening cocktail and champagne venue
- Maintain and elevate standards of service, guest satisfaction, and cleanliness
- Lead, motivate, and train the team through active, hands-on management
- Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate menu offerings, specials, and event requirements
- Manage bookings, exclusive hires, and corporate events
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and stock control for beverages and supplies
- Implement and uphold health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Analyse sales and service trends, proactively addressing opportunities for improvement
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for both guests and staff

Requirements
- Knowledge of afternoon tea/café service
- Experience managing private events
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven experience in bar/lounge or hospitality operations with a focus on premium service
- Hands-on approach to team management
