The Role
Do you have a passion for impeccable service and exquisite cocktails? As part of our Food and Beverage team you will have a natural way with people, an eye for detail and the drive to maintain and improve standards. It is essential that you have a desire to deliver amazing service and a personality that shines! You will work as part of a fun energetic team creating astounding experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing efficient, courteous, and professional service at all times within the Outdoor Spa Terrace, bars, restaurants, and any other department
- Assisting in delivering all aspects of our food and beverage service to guests across all hotel and spa areas, particularly the service of cocktails.
- Answering guest queries in a polite and helpful manner
- Coordinating with bar staff to ensure the availability of all beverages
- Handling guest complaints, responding accordingly or escalating as required to ensure the complaints procedure is followed and service recovery results in a satisfied guest
- Maintaining compliance with applicable health and safety standards, dress code, and other serving standards.
- Undertaking new or refresher training sessions as required
Role Requirements
Essentials
- Have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Have knowledge of cocktails, and other beverages
- Have a good understanding of liquor licencing, food hygiene and quality standards
- Have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirables
- Have experience with large volume covers
- Have Food Safety Training
Additional Information
- Full and part time positions available
- Working between 1-5 days a week (6 hours minimum - 40 hours per week)
- Covering shifts for mornings, afternoons and evenings
- Zero-hour contract
