[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Goods Receiver for their Central Production Unit in South London. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 06:00–15:00, £14–16 per hour. Role includes receiving deliveries, stock management, and food safety compliance.

The Role

We're looking for a reliable and organised Goods Receiver to join our Central Production Unit. You'll be the first point of contact for all incoming deliveries — ensuring everything that comes through the door meets our standards, gets logged correctly, and reaches the right place at the right time. It's a hands-on, detail-focused role that sits at the heart of how we run our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect all deliveries, checking quantities, quality, and condition
  • Rotate stock and store goods correctly across ambient, chilled, and freezer areas
  • Conduct daily and weekly stock counts and monitor inventory levels
  • Prepare daily and weekly purchasing lists based on par stock, and place supplier orders using MarketMan
  • Record delivery notes, verify invoices, and chase credit notes where needed
  • Monitor and log fridge and freezer temperatures in line with food safety requirements
  • Manage the purchasing email inbox and respond to suppliers in a timely manner
  • Work closely with production and management to ensure all departments are fully stocked

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Comfortable with regular manual handling, including lifting items up to 25kg
  • Able to work in chilled and freezer environments as part of the daily routine
  • Competent with Excel and stock management software — experience with Marketman is a plus
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude and reliable work ethic
